Posted by Pleasant Hill, Calif., June 21, 2016, – Controlco is pleased to announce that its President Brian Turner has been selected as a finalist in this year’s IBcon Julie Devine Digital Impact Award.
“This award,” writes the IBcon committee, “is designed to acknowledge those individuals who saw things ahead of their associates, had the courage to leave the mainstream and the tenacity to keep standing up after many failed attempts.”
Turner is included on a short list of six other industry leaders.
“It is a surprise and an honor to be a finalist for the Digital Impact Award,” Turner said. “I believe that the future of the buildings industry depends on pushing the boundaries of new and emerging technologies in order to make buildings smarter and more energy efficient for the next generation. We’re proud to be working alongside many of the professionals listed as finalists this year.”
Two winners will be announced in this category at the award ceremony on Wednesday, June 22 beginning at 6 p.m. Attendees of the Realcomm IBcon 2016 conference are invited to the exhibit floor for the announcement, and those watching from home can tune in to the live stream found at ib-con.com.
