Weekly News Roundup December 2-6, 2013

Posted by

Welcome back! The week after a holiday always seems to bring 12x the workload, but at least we had all that turkey to keep us fueled through these hectic days. How are your buildings feeling? Cold? Empty? Just right? Lots of interesting developments have cropped up over the last couple weeks, so let’s take a look at a few of the highlights:

Honeywell got rid of nuisance alarms, and bless them for that.

We introduced you to our DataEye Pro software and invited you to vote for it in the Control Trends Awards and then we gave you some more details about what DataEye Pro can do for you, as far as energy management goes.

The Automation group on LinkedIn explored the Internet of Things, specific to our manufacturing sector, which encouraged some lively discussion (while you’re there, have you followed Controlco on LinkedIn yet?).

Automated Buildings introduced us to “the new Tridium” and Smart Grid News began exploring distributed energy resources.

And John Schack took us inside the seriously state-of-the-art Bullitt Center in Seattle.

Things are moving fast people, so be sure to follow us on Twitter @Controlco_USA for all the latest industry news from us and others.
